Our presentation today at NAHAM’s Annual Conference was well attended and although it started at 7:30 AM – there were a few “red eyes” – but as usual the delegates were very attentive. The symposium was jointly hosted by Cincom Systems and Provider Advantage with a panel of expert speakers.
John Mangan (Cincom Systems) opened the presentation and drew parallels between the inflection point of the Pony Express and the Telegraph Machine, and the shifts in behaviours that were caused by that technological advancement, with the inflection point of Intelligent Guidance preventing errors before they happen and guiding registration staff through the many complexities of their interactions with patients.
John Thompson (IMA Consulting) spoke eloquently, as always, about the transformational capabilities of Revenue360* and the capacity of Intelligent Guidance to deliver Quality Assurance which includes – Assurance: preventing errors from occurring and Control: when Assurance is not possible.
Marilyn Evans (Prince William Hospital System) spoke with her customary enthusiasm of the significant process and financial benefits her organisation has obtained from Revenue360’s Insurance Code Solution which guides registration staff through the insurance selection process reducing re-works and denials and allowing her team to focus on the patient rather than the process.
Christine Kassouf (South Nassau Communities Hospital) celebrated he birthday today by telling us about how they had upgraded from a legacy product of Provider Advantage to the Revenue360 Eligibility Verification Module and how they were using the Revenue360 Pricing Estimation Module to improve their processes and cash collections.
